Dr. Al Harash was born in Damascus, Syria. There, he attended Damascus University and graduated with Honors. Soon after, Dr. Al Harash began his Internal Medicine residency in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and finished in 2014. During this time he was awarded both the best intern and ambulatory resident of the year. Between 2014 and 2018, he worked as a hospitalist in Indiana and was appointed as Chair of Medicine at Clark Memorial Hospital. Dr. Al Harash returned to Pittsburgh to complete his Rheumatology fellowship from 2018 to 2020. He was working as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University, treating complex rheumatic conditions. Dr. Al Harash received the Best Teacher of the Year award within the Division of Rheumatology.
